Since then I have worked in Esperance in Western Australia on large pivot steer tractors using largescale direct drills and also driving combine harvesters to harvest grain. Whilst teaching in the UK, I spent summer holidays driving tractors during the harvest in Shropshire, Oundle, Downham Market, and Wellingborough.

Other livestock experience

I have been brought up on a sheep and beef farm 1200 ewes 200 head of cattle. Duties included working dogs, lambing, shearing, drenching sheep and cattle.

1998 - Based in Shropshire irrigating potatoes and assisting with grain carting during wheat harvest.
