Little bit of experience driving tractors and RTFL at colledge

Drive a John Deere gator everyday where i currently work

milking in a micro dairy including:

- getting the cows in from the barn or field to the parlour

- putting the feed in before each cow comes in

-cleaning the teats with a foam cleanser and paper towels

- putting the clusters on

-taking the clusters off when theyve finished milking

- putting the teat dip on

- letting them out of the parlour

- cleaning the parlour and portable milking machines down

- letting the cows out to the field if they are going out

lambing sheep including:

-feeding and watering

- tube feeding lambs

-checking the ewes and lambs

- assisting any ewes which need help lambing

-numbering lambs and ewes

-Turning out ewes and lambs

fattening cattle including:

-milling wheat and barley for feed

-mixing small batches of feed

-using our electric grinder to cut up sugar beet and potatoes

-making sure all the cows have water

-checking all the cows

-bedding up

working with poultry including:

-feeding

-checking

-collecting eggs

-cleaning out

working with a few fattening pigs including:

-making up feed

-feeding them

-cleaning them out

-checking them

-loading them on the trailer/ moving them

General stock care with pigs sheep cattle poultry and small animals

Such as:

-Turning out sheep and cows/ moving them

- feeding

-checking them

-making sure they have water

-making sure they have a clean bed/ place to be
