I have tractor driving experience and plan on getting telehandler and ATV licenses alongside other licenses in the near future. I am relatively used to driving tele handlers but do not have a ticket yet so need practice. I spent most of the summer 2022 grain carting, subsoiling and doing other cultivations. Once shown I pick up skills quickly and am very keen to learn. I also have experience using log processing equipment and have agronomy knowledge from my previous job in sales
I have worked on various dairy farms as a herdsperson, milking on a 38 and 32 point internal rotary as well as a 24 a side swing over herringbone parlour. I primarily worked independently in calf rearing, which involved scraping, cleaning hutches, dealing with complicated calvings and feeding the calves as well as treating illnesses and preventing potential outbreaks. I am also experienced in administering medication to both cattle and calves. During harvest 22 I also helped with maintaining both the suckler herd and store herd, making and giving feed as well as daily stock checks.
