Rented a 24000 Free Range Laying unit for 10 years.Taking on full responsibility for the welfare, audits and maintenance of the site. The site, over time, developed to sell eggs directly to the public through a farm shop.

To diversify further trained in butchery to gain a full understand of this skill set and then installed a butchery, caf and play area. Developed a kitchen to use up butchery off cuts in products such as homemade pies, pork pies and sausage rolls. Finalists in the Derbyshire Life Farm Shop Awards and finalists in the Rural Business Awards.

The site turned over £1.1 million.
