Over the years I have tried, learnt and tested myself with new skills and learning new pieces of equipment.
I have an extensive amount of experience with agricultural equipment, this includes commercially and within a trials setting. Within my current role I have learnt to adapt from larger scale machinery to the scaled down equipment for the trials. My main roles as a skilled arable at **** has given me the opportunity to train and use, plot combines which I am currently the main operator for and this year I have currently been relief driver for the 40ft commercial combine. My other main roles include, commercial and trial drilling,using different types of drills, including direct drills; cultivations using equipment such as ploughs, powerharrows, cultivators; discs and tines and also rolls
I also have the ability to use equipment such as trailers, rape parter, mowers, toppers and irrigation systems.

Each year when harvest season finishes, I have employment with a contracting company. They have contract work managing the outside of large commercial units and the cutting of local football fields, cricket pitches and village greens. They undertake tree surgery, topping paddocks and meadows and cultivation work for the local shoot estate.
My duties here include: discing, rolling, drilling, power harrowing and planting, fertilizer and spraying as well as grass cutting and clearance of trees etc.
