Summer 2018 done a harvest down in Salisbury driving a telehandler where I got my certificate.

Followed on from that Ive been dairy farming in New Zealand since 2016 gaining a wide knowledge and experience with lots of machinery and fencing.

Other livestock experience

Growing up on farms I worked/helped out with beef and sheep up until entering the dairy sector in 2016.

Upon entering dairy farming I worked on a 220 Holstein dairy Stud Farm for 2 years. Since 2018 Ive been on my current farm since then we milk 780 cows and Ive been responsible for calf rearing, looking after the milking herds, dry herds, springers mobs.

Farming background

March 2016 - May 2018 started off as a Farm assistant on 220 Holstein Friesian farm, 18ashb shed, 36 effective ha. Ran a feed pad. When I left here in May 2018 I was 2ic.

June 2018 - September 2018 worked as a part of a harvest crew in Salisbury, England

September 2018 - current working on 780 mixed breed dairy farm in New Zealand. Farm is 245 effective ha. Here I manage the farm, and I have 3 full time staff working under me aswell as 3 part time staff.
