I have experience using garden machinery such as ride on mowers and strimmers and hedge cutters, and am confident using hand held gardening tools with lots of general gardening experience.

I am a quick learner, who uses equipment and machinery with care and confidence - with good understanding of health & safety measures.

Other livestock experience

I have experience working on commercial farms and country estates, mainly with sheep, but also with beef cattle. As well as assisting with lambing season, in the day to day, I help with GFW, from stock fencing, daily checks, feeding and bedding, and tractor driving.

I have great experience from various flocks in:

- Daily checks, feeding and bedding

- Assisting and leading during lambing

- Ear Tagging

- Ringing

- Spraying for fly strike

- Worming

- Live stock movement and management

- Updating records and movement forms

Currently, I independently manage 80 sheep and 20 chickens on part of a small holding. I am confident working independently, but also enjoy working as part of a team, or as an assistant to a head shepherd. I am looking for a role that will see me as a general farm worker or shepherd, working with sheep. I am a fast learner, who is confident in my abilities, and not afraid to get stuck in with a great attitude and willingness to learn.

I have only recently in the last 12 months gotten into farming, but my experience so far has been amazing and I am looking to grow my skill set and knowledge. I am putting myself through various trainings such as sheering, spraying and trailer driving, as well as learning more about machinery maintenance. I would love a role that understands I am still learning, but will see how hard I work and how confident I am already. I am a quick and confident learner who can turn her hand to anything. Im physically fit and a great organiser, willing to work independently or within a team.
