Married with 3 children, aged 10, 8 and 5. I am looking for an opportunity to have them live on a farm with me where they can learn about life on a farm.
I enjoy helping others with odd jobs and spending time with my family in the countryside.
6ft2, 80kg, fit and healthy.
Since 2011 I have served in the British Army, primarily in logistical roles within an unmanned air systems operating environment. Prior to this, I worked in landscaping. My aim now is to pursue a career in agriculture. I believe that combining my love for the outdoors with my passion for getting a good hard days work done will make me a good fit for this lifestyle. Open to varied opportunities, Im particularly interested in livestock farming and would also love to work with horses. In my spare time I have been working on a local mixed farm, gaining experience in fencing, tractor driving and calving. I enjoy working on my own car, which is helping me develop skills and knowledge of basic mechanics.
I have gained numerous skills and military qualifications over the years to enable me to plan, perform and enable varied roles and tasks within a time-pressured environment where learning on the job was a necessity.
In the army, we often have to take on additional responsibilities, which includes learning new skills and processes in a short space of time. This has built my confidence in being able to learn new roles quickly and in a responsible manner, always ensuring that the job is done to the highest standard.
