On this far assisted with milking the farmers

120 dairy cows though a 6 point swing over

parlor. In the we spent 3 1/2 hours and the

evening milking was 2 1/2 hours.

He also run a flock of 240 ewes and 150 ewe

lambs. At the beginning of April myself and

the farmer began to lamb the sheep outside.

In the summer months we harvested silage

to be used as feed for the cattle.

I farm full time along with my father We farm 50 suck cows and 200 forward stores. We also have a flock of 150 breeding ewes which we tend to throughout the year. In addition we run two hen houses that are contracted to rear broilers.

At home we cart all slurry

And help cart silage and drive my own digger (Hitachi zx 70)

A few evenings a week, I work at a recycling firm that produces woodchip for

bedding cattle driving the Manitou 735 -120
