Assist in the rearing of 100 store cattle and manage a small herd of Belted Galloway cows. Experience of calving outside. Duties include animal husbandry with experience of vaccinating. My duties also included fencing and hedge planting for water catchment scheme.

•Worked prior to leaving school during the holidays and weekends and then started my Agricultural Apprenticeship. Assisted with 200 suckler cows and lambing 300 sheep. Duties also included rearing 2000 bed and breakfast pigs which didnt give me enough time to work with variety of livestock. I realised that my passion was for sheep farming and cattle hence my move to Skelda Farm.
