Other livestock experience

I have some stock experience from helping on a dairy farm (250 Holstein cows). However this was often non-manual work, such as preparation of drawings to seek planning permission for a new shed and covered collection yard. The farmers explained the workings of a dairy farm to me (calving, calf rearing, hay and silage making, feeding, milking etc) and I once assisted with calving.
