I'm a goat owner (small herd, x3 golden guernseys) and enjoy devoting my time to them, their care and welfare. I enjoy volunteering with animals to enable me to expand upon my current skills and knowledge. Further, I enjoy travelling, spending time outdoors and watching Our Yorkshire Farm.

Working both independently and within groups to ensure that the welfare of the animals within the establishment were being systematised.

Building on my knowledge and practical experience through expanding on my understanding of different levels of animal welfare and husbandry with essential tasks including feeding, cleaning and remaining aware of The Five Freedoms.

Volunteering at events, including charity days, and educating visitors with my knowledge surrounding a collection of animal species. Such as small mammals and birds.

Experience with goat keeping. Im currently beginning a herd of rare breed golden guernseys.

September 2017 Welsh Mountain Zoo (Volunteering)

Maintaining the cleanliness of animals indoor and outdoor enclosures and gaining a comprehensive knowledge of COSHH.

Engaging with visitors, answering queries and sharing my knowledge in animal husbandry, welfare and conservation.
