Second year BSC agriculture student at Hartpury University. I have tractor and trailer work experience as well as maintenance knowledge. I come from a 1200 hectare arable farm. In 2020 from May to August I worked for Haygrove in Newent, Gloucestershire. There I was a tractor driver for the harvest season operating a Kubota 1250. I gained experience carting as well as good tractor maintenance. Back home I have bailed our winter wheat operating a Massey Fergusson 6713 with a Machio Trotter 125. I have operated a Valtra BM 120 for ploughing and ripping, using a Vulcan ripper and Baldan plough.

Other livestock experience

In April 2020 I worked on a farm in Thurso, Scotland. A 2000 acre operation. There I assisted with the Lambing season. Skills learnt- Dosing, Iodine application, safely assisting ewes to deliver lambs, clipping hoofs, feeding lambs with powdered milk, castrating experience and identifying when a ewe is going into labour.
