Farming background

I joined my current job in July 2017 as a general farm worker. During the first two seasons potato lifting I drove a Grimme GT170 harvester, progressing to a Grimme Varitron 270 the following year. I have experience loading bulk and box trailers. I also have vast experience spraying wheat, sugar beet and potatoes. I have been involved with land work, including bed ridging, primary and secondary cultivation works and drilling with a combination drill.

While working at home I have been able to gain experience on lots of different machinery and be involved in the day to day running of the farm.

In my spare time I enjoy clay pigeon and game shooting and have been a BACS member for a number of years. I enjoy attending farming events such as LAMMA and Cereals and working on my Land Rover in my spare time.
