Farming background

2015-2018 - Harvest operative. Responsibilities included corn carting, loader work, cultivations and assisting with combine maintenance.

Harvest 2019 - I worked for a large arable contractor, main duties were corn carting, relief combining and cultivations, as well as other tasks associated with harvest.

2019-2020 - Travelling Australia and New Zealand, I worked on an arable and sheep farm in Australia, driving a combine and assisting with the merino sheep unit.

Harvest 2020 - I was a combine driver for a large local arable farm, responsible for all maintenance and organising logistics with corn cart drivers. I also drove a big square baler from mid august onwards, after finishing harvest so early, which also included loading out straw lorries.

Since then I have drilled for another local farmer and been back working at home since we entered the November Lockdown. My main duties have been spraying and drilling, as well as the day to day running of the farm.
