My previous employment was on a 450 dairy unit. Here i was a trainee herdsman straight from college. Before this I was lambing over 6 weeks on a 500 ewe farm. At the same time as lambing at college I was working at Fishers farm park, working with a range of different animals. During going to college i would do one day a week work experience on a Organic poultry, sheep and beef farm.
- Over the two years I have bought and reared two groups of weaner boars. From 8 weeks to slaughter. Here I had to do all the movements for them and slaughter paper work.

I have family that are contractors and spent small amounts of time seeing what they do. I have done work experience over the two years that I was at college (finished May 2020) this included working on a sheep, beef and poultry farm, lambing over 6 weeks on a 500 ewe unit. Also small amounts of dairy work at college and before I started working at previous employment. Along side this I have also reared two groups of weaners as a small hobby which was all self taught.
