Our family-ran agricultural contracting enterprise which I have been fortunate enough to be raised up on.
Responsibilities included Tractor operations, in Straw production, Hay production, By-product application, Cultivations. Telescopic handler operations, machinery maintence, General farm management and upkeep.
Alongside the farming enterprise I have started conducting my own soil analysis of our unproductive grassland fields before applying FYMs to supply sufficient nutrients allow the grass to reach its highest protentional qualities. Using my knowledge gained from my BSc.

Alongside university studies I relief milk 120 Holstein cows, with key responsibilities of assisting high herd health and welfare status, feeding, weaning, castrating and contributing inputs within the dairy cow cycle.
June 17 Sept 18 - Framingham, Suffolk
Seasonal/part-time farm worker
Responsibilities included assisting Ai, weaning, farrowing on an intensive indoor pig unit. Alongside an arable enterprise, primarily completing secondary cultivations, grain carting, manure applications and machinery maintenance.
Feb 16 June 17- Woodbridge, Suffolk
Assistant shepherd/ Part time farm worker
Responsibilities included assisting managing a flock of polled and horned Dorset ewes. This involved general flock health and welfare checks e.g worming, foot trimming, fly sprays, boolst supplementing as well as pre-pregnancy examinations and lambing. Alongside secondary cultivations, telescopic handler operations and trailer work.
