SKILLS & KEY COMPETENCIES

Dexterity. I have excellent hand-eye coordination to harvest crops, care for animals and operate farm machinery.

Listening skills. I listen and if dont understand, I ask further questions to ensure I do. Taking instructions from farmers and other agricultural managers, effective listening is critical.

Physical stamina. I can perform laborious tasks repeatedly.

Physical strength. I am strong enough to lift heavy objects, including tools, animals and crops.

Mechanical skills. I can operate complex farm machinery. I also occasionally do routine maintenance on the machinery.
