Working for a local contractor for 8 years carting grass silage, rye, wholecrop and maize. Also was relief forager driver. Also have a trailer license.

Other livestock experience

Cattle- was a assistant stockperson to 800 head of suckler/beef pedigree show cattle and commercial. Plenty of calving experience and good attention to detail in all aspects of cattle. Preparing show cattle, clipping washing and halter training for 8 years.

Sheep - pedigree and commercial experience, dipping worming, sorting and lambing and all general duties to do with sheep.

Farming background

I was brought up on a small holding. Have my own cattle and some sheep. Worked for a local contractor for 8 years looking after 800 head of mixed commercial and pedigree show cattle plus tractor driver carting grass silage, rye, wholecrop, maize with 18ton baileys trailer and straw carting with artics. Went on to be self employed continuing to do the same but with relief forger driver to add to the mix. Autumn and winter time back in stock rappa fencing cover crops and turnips, dipping and general duties of care for sheep including lots of lambing.
