Other livestock experience

I have looked after pigs and poultry for the last 10 years on my family farm. We have raised weaners to pork. I also have experience with farrowing.

I have my own flock of sheep with my family. I have some lambing experience as well as experience rearing lambs.

I have work experience working in dairy parlour as a milking assistant.

I have little experience with cattle, some experience gained from a Farm Park where I was mucking out pens and feeding and watering.

The family farm also has 4 Lincoln Reds cows as well. I have experience knowing when a cow is close to calving, the Lincoln Red heifers calved without any issues therefore I don't have much experience getting involved.

I have spent 4 months away working on a farm with 1600 sheep where I assisted with moving sheep, pushing them up a race, injections and daily feeding and checks. This also involved working with the cattle, mucking out, feeding and checking them.
