01/2001 to Current Tractor driver and stockman.

Responsible for being in control of the companys arable enterprise on a 400 acre farm and performing all tasks required, including: cultivations, ploughing, drilling, spraying, fertiliser spreading, hedge cutting, manure spreading and combine harvesting.

Independently farming the grass unit by carrying out: mowing, tedding, rowing, baling, bale wrapping, topping of grazing pastures.and forage harvesting with a trailed Mengele chopper.

Confidently using modern farm machinery, including GPS.

Working with livestock in a team with the farms dairy herd and also on ones own with the beef enterprise. Responsible for the health and wellbeing of a herd of 200 beef cattle, relief milking the dairy herd, feeding the cattle with a Keenan feeder, calving and calf rearing. Also, cared for a flock of 100 sheep, duties including lambing, feeding and ensuring that all the animals on the farm had a clean and safe environment.

Being in control of establishing and maintaining various ELS and HLS schemes across the farm. Ditching with 360 tracked excavator and monitoring dirty water systems.

Carrying out mechanical servicing and repairs to farm machinery to ensure all equipment was in good working order.
