Summer 2018, 2019, 2020 _______ ______ Contracting- returning summer role as grain store manager, reporting to the Farm manager. Responsible for all grain store operations, organising the grain coming in and co-ordinating grain pick-up.

Autumn 2017- _____ Estate- worked as part of a 10-person harvest team in Australia, driving a combine with a 40ft header cutting wheat, barley and canola.

2017- ______ Farming- drove a Case Axial-Flow 8230 combine with 35 ft header for a season cutting oilseed rape, barley, wheat and beans as part of a six-person harvest team. Other tasks include spraying, cultivating, estate management and fertiliser spreading.

2015 2016 ________ ______ Contracting- spent 15 month placement working as part of the ______ ______ Contracting team, taking on a range of roles and responsibilities including estate management, grain store management, spraying (with a Bateman RB35), cultivation and New Holland 9090 combine operation during harvest.

2007 2018: Worked on local mixed farms doing general farm work that included: tractor work such as mowing, muck spreading, corn and silage carting, slurry tanking, raking ploughing, power harrowing and drilling.

Autumn 2019 Spring 2020 Nithdale Farm and Nithdale Genetics worked as part of a shepherding team in New Zealand at Nithdale, a national leader in breeding dual purpose Romney and SufTex sheep. Completing tasks such as weighing, drenching, worming and weaning lambs as well as mouthing and uddering ewes. Other tasks completed were mustering and moving ewes with dogs as well as electric fencing for strip grazing. Whilst there I was also heavily involved with stock checking worming and weighing beef animals on the station fully utilizing EID technology.

2007 2018: Worked on local mixed farms doing general farm work that included calf rearing, weighing and worming beef animals, as well as shearing, crutching, worming, vaccinating and weighing lambs. Daily checks of animal health and well being were also completed.

2013-2018- Part time sheep shearing, working for a local shearing contractor averaging 100 ewes a day.
