Farming background

From when I was old enough Ive been out and about on our family farm. Which was initially sheep and beef due to family circumstances we now run approx 2700 sheep (2300 Swaledale ewes/gimmers/hoggs and 400 texel x ewes/gimmers) and we summer cattle. I will and do turn my hand to anything sheep related and Im current a district secretary for the Swaledale sheep breeders Association. I have worked for agricultural companies (Carrs billington and NWF) however Im happiest out of the office in my wellies and with my sheep even on rainy days (living on a hill farm we have plenty of those!!)
