I have a wide range of experience within dairy, beef, pigs and sheep. Most of my experience lies within sheep as I have completed most aspects of sheep husbandry such as; crovecting, worming, dagging, foot care etc. I have also completed 3 seasons of lambing where I have been able to; lamb ewes, ring and castrate lambs, tube feed, jab lambs etc.
I have milking experience in a 36:36 Herringbone parlour. As well as this, I have also worked with calves in the calf rearing unit of a dairy farm. I completed most aspects with the calves, such as; tube feeding, disbudding and feeding.
I have also tackled some aspects of pigs and piglets such as; teeth clipping, slap marking, iron injections etc.
Additionally, I have worked with beef cattle and have done worming, ear tagging, sorting for market etc.
Livestock is my strongest point however I also have basic tractor driving skills and have done basic topping, muck spreading and scraping.
I have horses which I keep with my family for a hobby
