After leaving Uni I have worked predominately in the dairy sector on herds of 100 to over 500 head of milking cows plus followers. I have been a herd person, herd manager and I am currently a farm manager for a very mixed and specialised diverse farm in the SW. I have worked in academic and research institutes across the UK which has given me my passion for animal welfare and helped to hone in on my exceptional livestock skills. I have worked in teams of 3 to 20 people. I currently line manage 2 full time staff and several part time workers. I have first class skills as a practical farmer doing what I love, being with the stock and equally skilled with the office based requirements to keep a farm up to date with legislation, budgets and record keeping.

I am open to the job, I feel the job and living arrangements are more important than the location. I am currently in the SW and love it here but it does depend entirely on the job role.
