Dairy - family farm - milking twice a day, calving, foot trimming, ear tagging, administering medicine (Completed Mastering Medicine Vet course) and general herd handling.

Beef - employed 2017 - 2020. 800 head of cattle. Stock checking and maintenance, foot trimming, tagging, de-horning, general herd maintenance and handling. Started a pedigree Devon Red herd in 2016 on the family farm, currently still expanding.

Lambing - 2017. Morning shift for lambing season, independently looking after 100 ewe and associated lambs. Stomach tubing lambs, lambing etc.

Sheep - handling, foot trimming, worming, administering meds.

I am use to cattle and capable to mindfully herd and handle livestock.

Farming background

2017 - Lambing - responsible for 100 ewes during the morning shift during the lambing season. Asked back to work with the cattle.

2017 - 2020. 800 beef cows - general farm worker. Herd handling and maintenance.

2018 - General farm worker and working at the Family farm.

2019 - Bayer crop science - 6 months placement. Assisting full-time developmental agronomists.

Currently working on the family farm. Small scale dairy and beef farm.
