I have 2 years experience of working on a mixed farm while studying for my BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Agriculture. In this job I carried out day to day tasks as well as long term projects on the farm. I have worked with a variety breeds, I have knowledge of English Longhorn, Highland cattle, Dexter cattle, Red Pol as well as Hereford cattle. The farm also stocks sheep and I have experience in husbandry and lambing.

Other relevant experience I have gained from working on this farm and during my course include calving, milking, haylage and silage making, and some arable experience. I have Health and safety and Manual handling awareness.

I have experience of bale carting and towing up to 30ft flatbed trailers. I have driven 360 diggers and telehandlers but do not have a ticket. I am also proficient in ploughing.

I am a positive, flexible and adaptable team member but equally I am able to work on my own using my own initiative.

I am dedicated and enthusiastic worker with a commitment to farming as a life-long career. I am now looking to extend my skills and experience.
