I have experience with both cattle and sheep, able to lamb and calve on my own and tube a calf/lamb. I can carry out all livestock husbandry and veterinary treatments. Can work on my own or in a team can also be trusted to work alone all day also have my own dog

Farming background

raised on a beef and sheep farm so able to do everything with them. 2017/18 worked on a farm as part of my work experience for Greenmount that had short horn cattle and horses. April/may 2018 3 weeks day lambing on the Shetland islands. April/may 2019 3 weeks night lambing Shetland islands. June 2019 -may 2020 1 year working on a dairy farm to get experience helped with youngstock. July 2020-January 2021 milking, youngstock duties, tubing new born calves. Giving fluids spotting sick animals and treating them, scrapping passageways and bedding yard with telehandler, unloading lorries moving meal using front bucket. Milking
