Completed a safe tractor driving skills workshop. Experience driving 100hp tractors, carrying out duties such as mowing, haybob, wuffling, pulling 14ft trailers, rolling, chain harrowing, land levelling, also loader work, such as gathering/stacking bales, pallet/bulk bag work. Proficient in operating quads, including fertilizer spreading, weed licking and general trailer work. Confident operating skidsteers while cleaning out sheds. Limited digger experience operating sub 13 tonne machines. Take pride in keeping machinery clean and well maintained and have servicing experience. Know how to use a grease gun!

Other livestock experience

Born and raised on a busy west of Ireland suckler-to-beef and sheep farm. Carrying out all day-to-day livestock work including dosing, dipping, vaccinating, bolusing, hoof pairing, drafting, feeding, calving cows, lambing ewes, identifying/dealing with problem animals. Cleaning/bedding sheds. Putting up stock-proof fencing. Some experience of milking cows in 7 unit parlour.

Farming background

Worked for 6 weeks in Kepak Athleague, meat processing plant, both on the line and in the processing and packaging rooms sorting meat and getting orders ready for dispatch(July/August 2019). This role required strict hygiene standards and attention to detail, while also developing excellent time management and task prioritisation skills. Assist in the milking of cows for a neighbour and general yard/field jobs while he's away during summers 2018/19 and also some weekends. Worked in a local plant hire and small machinery sales business during summer of 2016, both operating and carrying out maintenance of lawnmowers/chainsaws and hire equipment such as power washers, sprayers, 2.5 tonne diggers, skid steers.
