Farming background

In regards to farming experience, I'm afraid mine is rather limited. However, at the ripe old age of 37 I'm hoping my slightly more advanced years may count for something as far as life experience.

I worked as a forester for 18 months, which involved a good amount of tractor work (driving across uneven terrain, on hillsides and cruising on dual carriageways) transporting wood chip to clients. I drove a Fendt 828 with a Fliegl Gigant trailer. I would also use the tele-handler to load lorries and tidy up the silage clamp, with no issues. I'm absolutely no stranger to hard work and being outdoors for long hours in all weather conditions!

I also spent 3 weeks working on a dairy farm in New Zealand, which was an incredible experience and ultimately sparked this career change. I've also volunteered a couple of days work experience on a dairy farm in West Sussex.
