I have spent 3 seasons operating quadrant and 4 string balers Have a number of years using fusion 2 balers and welger belted and fixed chamber balers. Operated loading shovels in farm situations Have a number of years operating telehandlers for all on farm requirements. Drilled grass and cereals with all accompanying tillage works Im fluent in Welding for fabrication and repair work lathe work Have a number of years hedge cutting with my own equipment as well as my own.

Other livestock experience

Have worked with a 500 head herd of beef as assistant herdsman, took responsibility for medication and day to day stock care with holiday cover having to manage the farm day to day while the owner was away. Having recently worked on a 2000 head herd of dairy cattle with normal day to day care of stock. I have no milking background.

Farming background

Grew up on family farm in Lancashire and spent a number of years in university to gain my degrees, I now grow 90 acres of horse hay/haylage as well as operate a self employed basis precision engineering and welding enterprise. I have previously self contracted for hedge cutting and baking and wrapping with small and large bales as well as maintained my own equipment

Ive gained many years experience operating machines in a large scale contracting environment, Muck spreading ( compost and precision chicken muck) Slurry tanking ( trailing shoe and disc )
