I've had experience carting straw and moving pigs in livestock trailer with a tractor.Ive had 3 years working with pigs. Im very confident driving a tractor and trailer on the road as Ive previously done a harvest job. I've also had some experience operating a teleporter however do not have a license but Im very confident using one. Ive also shown cattle and have had my own flock of sheep.
I've had lots of experience with pig from AI , farrowing and finishing. Im confident on working alone and also with others. Ive done some calving and have been showing cattle for the past two years. Ive done two lambing seasons and have owned my own flock of sheep, I also have some poultry experience from rearing birds on a game farm.

Temporary harvest assistant-may 2021-current I worked on a 1,500 acre arable farm during summer where I was corn carting, beet carting, cultivating, hedge cutting, rolling and much more. Im very confident operating large machinery Stockman June 2020- may2021- I worked on a pig farm where I did was doing all jobs from AI, checking farrowing pigs, checking weaners and also feeding dry sows. Ive done almost every role on the farm and was able to slip into any job that was needed. I was very confident injecting pigs and tagging. Underkeeper- Shoot-September 2019- June 2020
After finishing my temporary harvest position, I got a job closer to him on a game farm/shoot. I was initially assisting with raising the birds, readable to be put out on the shoot. I then moved on to feeding and checking the birds. During the shooting season, I was helping with organising the guns and beaters. I was also assisting with the maintenance of equipment.

Laboratory Assistant- July 2019- September 2019
After completing my college course, I worked on a temporary harvest contract. Staying on site, the main part of my role in the laboratory was, testing crop samples and recording data on excel spreadsheets. I was also helping about with yard jobs and general maintenance of the farm. I also was booking in lorries and contacting customers either by telephone or in person with any queries as necessary.
Stockman - February 2018- March 2019
While studying at college I wanted to gain some in industry experience on a farm so decided to apply for a stockman role. I was working on the farrowing and dry sow area of the farm, where I was managing stock, feeding, serving pigs via AI, carting straw and maintaining the overall health of the herd. I was also carrying out a lot of tractor work from feeding to straw carting. The job was part of my work experience for my BTec qualification.
