Experienced Shepherd and farm worker, currently based in North Wales 20 miles from Chester. I have my own dogs, experienced in lambing, calving, milking, fencing. I have had 3 seasons lambing and recently spent 8 months as a shepherd on a 4500 sheep farm in Rutland.

6 years looking after sheep, including working as the 2nd Shepherd on a 4500 sheep farm with over 8000 lambs. My duties included lambing, feeding, general sheep health care, shearing ,dagging and foot care, as well as sorting lambs for market.

5 years working on a dairy farm as a herdsman my duties include milking, feeding and caring for the calves.

Currently I am a relief milker back home (North Wales), as well assisting looking after our family flock of over 200 sheep and 50 calf rearing unit.

This year, I after returning from Australia, I was responsible for lambing 400 sheep in Yorkshire and then I spent 8 months on a 4500 sheep farm, with 8000 lambs as the 2nd Shepherd in Rutland .

Prior to that i worked at local dairy farm for 5 years as a herdsman and assisting in the harvest. My previous shepherding experience includes working as an emergency night lamber and a full lambing season 2 years ago in Rutland.

I spent 5years working as herdsman on a 400 acre local Dairy Farm which is has a herd of 300 cows. This is a new herd based on the New Zealand method of milk production. My duties include milking, feeding and caring for the calves, carting and mucking out.

Worked on a 410 acre dairy farm in New Zealand, which had a heard of 450 milking cows and 170 calves. My duties include milking, feeding and caring for the calves.

In my holidays i also worked on my Uncles 200 acre farm, duties included tractor driving during the harvest, loading and stacking bales of hay, straw and silage round bales.
