Over 30 years hands on experience as a herdsman and stock person. Although been out of farming for a few years but would like the opportunity to work in the agriculture sector again. I need a new adventure.

Herdsman of 30 years on both commercial and pedigree herds, can do all herd tasks, foot trimming, herd health, calvings. On my previous farm the employer would leave me to run the farm when he went away, which I believe shows how capable I am.

I have a genuine respect of cows and enjoy working with them. I have only worked on 3 farms which I believe shows how committed I am. I am currently a bus driver but would like to get back into cows as my family have all grown up and I am now available to get stuck in were needed and get fit again because driving a bus isnt conducive to a good lifestyle

Farming background

Started farming at 16 stayed with that farmer for 18 years working up to become a herdsman, left after being made redundant in 2003 and moved to a Jersey herd where I stayed for 12 years doing all the tasks of a herdsman and stockman . I have recently managed a dairy farm in Worcestershire.

My wife also likes to help with milking and calf rearing.

Currently I am a bus driver but want to get back to the countryside.
