I was born and brought up on three local farms in the Wylye Valley, Wiltshire.Currently work on a large Dairy unit in Cornwall rearing 1000 cross bred calf's in a modern unit .After several years away from home gaining experience,I am now looking to return to my local area to be closer to my family.

Previously I have gained experience with young stock due to working on a smaller calf rearing unit in Devon which was a great experience it helped me to learn about the different systems for calf rearing . I currently work on a large Dairy unit in Cornwall rearing 1000 cross bred calves in a modern unit .

Throughout my farming career I have used and maintained a variety of modern machinery which has aided me to complete my daily tasks. Throughout my Stockmans career I have learnt all aspects of livestock from the legal requirements to the daily husbandry.

Within my role here I work alone caring out all of the tasks involved with rearing 1000 calfs , which includes all aspects of Husbandry , Dehorning , Castrating , Moving calves between units, Planning feed trials , Data Management , Fencing , Vaccinations , Weaning and Organising regular vet checks .

Within my role here I mainly worked alone caring out general shepherding tasks , which includes all aspects of Sheep Husbandry , Electric Fencing using a RAPPA , Moving mobs of sheep with my 2 Australian Kelpies , Grazing planning , Data Management , Suckler Cow husbandry , Vaccinations , All aspects of Calving.
