Telehandler work including Loading bales/grain/muck etc plus various other duties involving 360 diggers. Workshop duties such as routine maintenance, service and repairs. Competent in Fendt/John Deere/New Holland/Massey Ferguson tractors, JCB/Merlo Telehandlers.
Working closely with a small suckler herd for the past 2 years; 40 cows plus followers, including general feeding/bedding up plus worming/dehorning/clipping and handling of cattle.
Currently 700 Head finishing unit, TMR fed including 60 cow suckler herd. General duties including vaccinations, tagging, de horning, working and weighing etc. Sheep work consisting of rearing lambs, some time spent lambing with a flock of 200 mules for last two springs, ringing, docking, feeding, checking etc!
Looking for opportunities within a business and to expand skill set more, fairly flexible with dates etc, I returned from the US just before Christmas - would be happy help out calving/lambing short term or even something more permanent within a business! Wanting to do more with progression and responsibility eventually leading to a management type role! If perhaps you think you like what you have read then don't hesitate to contact me! Then onto more silage/straw focused contractor from all aspects such as mowing, turning/raking, baling & wrapping or clamping with some time on forager also.
