Telehandler - JCB, Claas, New Holland (full telehandler licence) Attachments - Topper, Tedder, Rake, post knocker (fully competent at attaching a 3 point linkage with PTO and hydraulics front or rear) 360 tracked machine - I have used a 360 machine for both agricultural and construction purposes although I do not hold a ticket for one. I am competent in driving a 360 machine

Other livestock experience

I have experience working with both sheep and cattle and all husbandry duties required to look after these animals. Including lambing/calving and feeding of all livestock. Cattle stock man ship (calving/bedding/feeding/and record keeping) for over 2000 cattle (Limousin, Charolais, British blue and many other beef cattle breeds) spread over 3 farms totaling to 1500 acres.being able to diagnose and treat common diseases such as dermatitis, mastitis, new forest eye and milk fever as well and being able to administer basic veterinary medicines. Recently completed lambing season where I had the responsibility for over 1000 ewes, caring for their health and welfare. these were mainly Texel and Suffolk ewes. I also have some experience milking (although this was never a full time job, i have relief milked for friends) I currently have the responsibiliy for milking over 100 sheep and over 150 goats twice a day to a high standard. I enjoy going fishing (fly and sea mainly). I like to eat out a lot with friends, and enjoy just being outdoors in the garden or at the local park with my daughter. I was also once a very keen horse rider and maybe looking to one day get back into that.

Farming background

Farm maintenance including fencing, animal husbandry on cattle, sheep and pigs and in house feeding using Keenan TMR wagon and shed maintenance such as scraping out, power washing and bedding down cows during winter months, as well as basic poultry care. Assisting with calving and calf rearing, transportation of animals from farm to farm using tractor and trailer, lambing duties (day and night shifts), assisting in farm grassland management, using tractor and reach forklift driving during harvesting season as well as using modern farm equipment and a modern fleet of tractors such as John Deeres, New Hollands, Massey Fergusons and Fendts.

Also ran a goat and sheep dairy farm for 3 years milking 2x a day in a parallel parlour, animal husbandry on sheep and goats with lambing/kidding 3x a year. Feeding using mixer wagon 2x daily. Cleaning out sheds using modern equipment
