Highly experienced working with dairy cows across a variety of systems including spring block calving, split block and all year round herds (up to 600 cows). Strong skills in heat detection and artificial insemination, with great attention to detail. Confident in all aspects of herd health including identifying and treating illness, administering medicines, and working closely with vets and nutritionists.

Extensive calving experience, including managing busy calving blocks. Skilled in youngstock rearing and general herd management with a strong focus on cow welfare and performance. Experienced in grass based systems, grazing management and maintaining high production standards.

I have 4 dogs that I work and go beating / picking up with. Im big into dog training and love to show off how well trained Ive got my dogs. I lead an active lifestyle and enjoy keeping fit through regular gym training. I also enjoy spending time outdoors and with animals, which reflects my passion for farming and the countryside. I have a strong interest in improving myself both physically and mentally, and enjoy setting goals and working towards them. I also spend time with my dogs and enjoy the quieter side of rural life.

Farming background

Dedicated herdsperson with over 10 years of hands-on experience in the dairy industry. Currently working as a Herdsperson on a 300 cow spring calving, grass-based system, assisting in the full day to day management of the farm.

Previously self-employed as a relief farm worker for over 5 years, covering a wide range of farms and systems. This role developed strong adaptability, independence, and the ability to quickly integrate into new teams and routines.

Also worked as an RMS Technician for Genus ABS, specialising in artificial insemination across multiple farms daily.

Started career as an Assistant Herdsperson on a large 600-cow unit, building a solid foundation in milking, herd health, and farm operations.
