11/2014 - 07/2023 Farm Worker and Park Ranger for Reading University Centre for Dairy Research. My day-to-day role varies but will always include some stock related work. This can be feeding calves and young stock, bedding up cow yards in the winter, to checking outside stock in summer and moving to new pasture when required. Other tasks include stock fencing, fitting or repairing water troughs, chainsawing, ditching, hanging new field gates, carting straw and hay, telehandler work and working on stewardship projects like laying hedgerows or planting new hedges.

Have also worked with longhorn cattle, highland cattle and helped out on friends farms. I have worked with sheep, (lambing, castrating, tail docking, ear tagging, dealing with fly strike)

11/2013 11/2014 Farm worker. I assisted with management of Organic Longhorn cattle and a flock of grey face mules. I was involved with calving, lambing, helped market and sell produce at numerus farmers markets as well as the onsite farm shop, organised and ran LEAF Open farm Sunday. As it was also a care farm, I lead groups on various farm tasks.
