•I assisted the owner in managing 300 dairy cows, often taking responsibility for the whole farm for long periods in the owners absence.
•I was responsible for managing the herds day to day needs, this required good organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and strong degree of self reliance.
•I was responsible for interpreting the data collected by robots and combining this with what was happening on the ground. Using the results from this to improve the performance of the farm.
