2011-2015 Worked on the college farm, Milking and calf rearing, lambing, helping out with shepherding duties.

2014-2016Lambed 600 ewes on an hill farm. Took main responsibilities for flock and all cade lambs.

2015-2019 HGV driver. Worked individually to pick up milk even in the most adverse conditions. Left to pursue farming career.

2019-2021: work on a 600 head dairy farm that calve all year round. Have sole responsibility for all calves born from 0-3months. Milking 500 cows through a 20 a side swing over parlour twice a day. Use scraper tractor. Have done most vet med applications and have calved cows alone. Looking after sick and down cows, medicating milk fever cows effectively. Rountine drying off weekly.

2021-2022 worked as a weighbridge supervisor and quality controller at Lloyds animal feeds before maternity leave.

2022 Completing my degree in Agriculture at Askham Bryan College.
