Agricultural contractor- Sudbury April 2017 to September 2020 Bailing, tanking with splash plate and dribble bar with 4000 gallon tank, carting maize silage, grass silage, carting bales, de-stoning, wrapping, carting stone/soil, power harrowing, shakerating, discing, muck spreading. General maintenance of machinery. Farm worker - Owthorpe December 2014 to February 2015 Responsibilities - Started off every morning checking pheasant feeders and topping them up if they where low, setting up for the clay pigeon shoots every other weekend, general farm work for a arable farm (loading wheat and making sure the weights of the lorries where the correct weight, taking delivers, washing machinery, carting rubble around the yard, changing sprockets on a 360 excavator, feeding the ducks at the end of the day and done some forestry work). Accomplishments - Learnt a bit about arable farming and also learnt a bit about restoring lakes. Farm Labourer - Wootton January 2012 to November 2013 Responsibilities - Milked cows, bedded down and fed calves, tractor work (topping, harrowing, rolling, carting muck, carting old railway sleepers, telescopic work, buck-raking and post knocking) calved cows and heifers, stock movement (cattle and sheep) vaccinating both cattle and sheep. Also done electric fencing. Accomplishments - First hand experience of dairy farming, learnt the majority of what I know about dairy farming there.
