I have always been brought up farming with my dad. i left school at 16 i went contract fencing, working at my local livestock market and working on my family farm for a few months until I got a job in Devon working on a smaller sheep and beef farm where i was also working with horses, pigs etc and i learnt all about showing cattle. After leaving Devon I went back to the market and done odd jobs, fencing and lambings. I moved to bute in 2015 running 800 llyne ewes,115 herd of luing x south Devon and pedigree luing cattle aswell as 40 pedigree Hampshire down ewes my bosses were retiring in 2019 so I moved back home and worked part time for an estate near fort William for a year before being offered the farm manager job in 2020. I have spent the last 3 year sorting out sheep and building up the flock from cross you and moving into pure cheviots.
