6+ years experience lambing, on indoor and outdoor systems. Can work alone or as part of team. Competent with wet-adoptions, re-mothering, complicated lambings, tubing etc. Have worked in animal health therefore practice high hygiene standards. Good problem solver and quick at learning new systems. Also have experience working with store cattle, and rearing game birds. 3 years practical experience working in commercial chicken production in England and NZ. Includes work as broiler breeder flock stockman, commercial broiler bird stockman, hatchery operative and stockman/grader on FR laying hen unit.

March 2019: Assisting with lambing of 900 NCM indoors (Northampton) - wet adoptions, malpresentations, remothering, feeding, tubing, overseeing pet lambs, cleaning & disinfecting pens, working alone on evening shift, teaching students.

April 2019: lambing 300 Lleyns indoors (Shropshire/Wales border) - experience as above.

March 2015: Lambing 400 NCM & Suffolks indoors (North Gloucestershire) - All aspects of indoor lambing, including lone night lambing.

May 2019 - August 2019: General farm work - sourcing store cattle to finish at grass, vaccinating, worming. Farm maintenance - bricklaying etc.

August 2020 - Present: agricultural accountants training

October 2016 - December 2018: Herd Health Project Manager. Running BVD Eradication Programme for England. March-April 2017: Lambing assistant at home. Outdoor lambing 300 easy care ewes over multiple blocks, duties included moving stock and electric fencing, injecting and tagging.
