I enjoying getting involved with young farmers and i like to play football every so often. I have also this last year have been renovating a land rover. The past 3 years I've been on the Young Farmers ski trip. I don't minded the odd day clay pigeon shooting.

Farming background

I have not been brought up on a farm but i have been working on local farm since i was around 14 years old. At 16 I left school and went off to Askham Bryan College and came out with a level 3 NDA. When I finished my two year course I came out and got a full time job on a dairy farm near home. In my first year I got to the final 3 of herdsman of the year which was part of a company called LKL. I've had experience in all sorts of agriculture dairy has been my main one for a number of years. About 2 and half years ago I started up my own little flock of sheep and now have about 50 sheep and rent about 40 acres. Farming has become a big part of my life which in I have no regrets.
