Hardworking and enthusiastic, I am passionate about farming and livestock. With hands-on experience managing my own flock and working on a local farm, I am eager to develop my skills in a full-time role. I thrive in practical environments and am ready for a new farming opportunity.

Through both my Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Agriculture and practical farm work, I have gained experience operating and working safely around a range of agricultural machinery and equipment.
My college training included practical operation of tractors, telehandlers, ATVs (quad bikes), basic trailer handling, PTO-driven equipment, power harrowing, rolling and discing. This training was supported by modules covering machinery safety, estate management, field maintenance and farm health and safety.
On the farm, I regularly use the farm Land Rover and equipment to manage livestock, transport supplies, inspect fields and carry out daily husbandry tasks. I am responsible for checking and maintaining livestock infrastructure, including fencing, holding pens, water systems, mineral licks and field condition, while applying appropriate health and safety and biosecurity procedures.
I have also completed practical estate maintenance, including pasture and field upkeep, barn preparation, and maintenance work required for both livestock production and public farm events. Throughout my work I consistently follow safe systems of work, including the correct use of PPE, risk assessments, safe chemical handling, equipment safety procedures, and biosecurity measures.
I hold a full UK driving licence and regularly undertake farm errands, collect agricultural supplies and work flexibly across seven days a week, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and busy seasonal periods such as lambing, harvest and public events.
I have extensive hands-on experience in livestock management through my work on a mixed livestock farm, managing my own flock of sheep, and completing a Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Agriculture.
I currently care for sheep, cattle, goats, pigs and horses, with daily responsibilities including feeding, checking and cleaning water systems, mucking out housed livestock, carrying out routine welfare checks, administering medications, and maintaining high standards of animal husbandry. I have completed multiple lambing seasons, taking responsibility for all aspects of ewe and lamb care, including monitoring pregnant ewes, assisting with lambing, raising orphan lambs, administering treatments, recording births and ensuring excellent welfare throughout the season. I have also helped during calving and raised an orphan calf.
I manage my own flock of Suffolk and North Country Mule sheep under the farm, taking responsibility for purchasing livestock, breeding records, flock health planning, ewe and ram MOTs, field allocation, pasture management, organising transport and movement paperwork, arranging shearing contractors, maintaining medicine and health records, and liaising directly with the vets and feed suppliers.
I regularly educate members of the public through farm events and by leading Mini-Farmers sessions, teaching children and families about livestock management, animal welfare and modern farming practices. I have also supervised work experience students, helping to develop their practical husbandry skills while maintaining high welfare, health and safety, and professional standards.
