I have hands-on experience working around animals through many years in horse care, stud work and racing yards, where animal welfare, feeding routines and daily care were a key part of my role. I have also helped a friend during lambing season, assisting with general tasks and gaining experience around sheep and livestock. I previously kept chickens and was responsible for daily care including feeding, cleaning, general upkeep and monitoring their wellbeing.

I am a hardworking, reliable and practical worker with a varied background in animal care, farming environments, maintenance and hands-on technical roles. I spent around 8 years working within racing yards, stud farms and horse care environments, carrying out daily animal care duties, stable management, yard maintenance and breaking in young horses. I attended the British Racing School and gained valuable experience working in fast-paced environments where high standards, teamwork and animal welfare were essential.
Alongside this, I worked as a Plumbing and Heating Engineer for 3 years and as a Water Technician for 2 years, developing strong practical skills, maintenance experience and knowledge of health and safety procedures. I have also gained experience building paddocks, installing post and rail fencing, erecting electric fencing systems and using equipment such as post rammers and general farm tools.
Although I have not worked on a pig farm specifically, I have experience working around animals and livestock, including helping with lambing and previously keeping chickens. I am used to physically demanding outdoor work, early starts and working in all weather conditions, and I am keen to continue developing my skills within farming.
