.Experienced with trailers, including hitching/unhitching and towing.

.ATV operation for livestock checks and farm inspections.

.Safe operation around heavy-duty farm equipment, including large log splitters.

.Groundskeeping and land maintenance experience.

.Fencing.

.Grass strimming, mowing, and hedge cutting.

.Basic concrete laying and outdoor maintenance work.

Sheep Husbandry:

.Gathering sheep across rough hill and Munro terrain.

.Feeding, medicating, dosing, tagging, foot care, wool handling and sorting.

.Monitoring flock behaviour, hygiene, and nutritional condition.

.Experienced in indoor and outdoor lambing.

.Caring for weak or sick lambs, including tube feeding and bottle feeding.

.Fostering, and hand-rearing lambs.

.Assisting lamb deliveries in all positions and complications.

.Tagging, tail docking, and castration.

.Trusted with managing lambing responsibilities independently.

Cattle Management:

.Droving, housing, feeding, sorting, and clipping.

.Daily health and behaviour monitoring.

.Nutritional management and hygiene maintenance.

.Assisting with calving and general herd health management.

.Assisting with scanning procedures and veterinary care.

.Bottle feeding and rearing calves.

.Poultry managment including feeding schedules, housing, mucking out, breeding , and pest control

.Pig feeding, housing, and butchery assistance

Equine & Mixed Animal Care:

.Daily care of horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and a pet Highland cow including seasonal feeding schedules, housing management, health checks and training.

Farm tours :

Conducting guided farm tours on a working farm with hands-on experiences with livestock and farm animals, including safety briefings, delivering educational talks on farm life and the history of Balquhidder Glen.

Butchery & Field Skills:

.Experience in the full process of deer butchery and hunting.

.Occasional pig butchery experience.

.Assessing livestock condition and assisting with finishing lambs and calves for market.

.Strong work ethic, dedication and responsibility

.Worked 7 days a week 8-5 or not with full responsibility for the daily care and wellbeing of the livestock.

.Trusted to independently manage lambing and calving (however called out the boss when calving was happening)

.Experienced working long hours in all weather conditions
