Currently on a dairy farm helping with fertiliser spreading and silage. This includes mowing and carting.

Other livestock experience

2 years experience on a dairy and pig unit. Spent most time and a calf rearer and in house dairy stock person. Mild experience with pigs. Experience bedding up, milking, mucking out and separating stock groups.

Also work part time on my college farm for 2 years. Mainly working dairy and calves. Helped with fencing.

February 2025 to current day.

Working on a dairy farm. Working with cows and doing a range of tractor work. Mainly been doing fertiliser spreading and silage work. This farm uses the a New Zealand style of farming where cows are outside all year round, this means that grass must be maintained to keep the cows fed and the milk up.

September 2022 to October 2024

This is a multi-job role consisting of both dairy and Arable work. Required the ability to work in a group and individually to get work done. Dairy side consisted of milking, scraping sheds, calf care and many other day to day jobs. Arable side consisted of slurry tanking, carting muck and harvested goods, cultivation, machinery maintenance and much more.

March 2020 to May 2022

Mixed livestock and arable farm. Livestock contained sheep, dairy and beef whilst arable was mainly cereal crops. I was hands on both with the livestock and the arable and undertook a large number of tasks whilst expanding my knowledge of agriculture
