I've ploughed at home as well as at college, and I'm keen to do more. I've carted barley from the combine to steadings, but never combined myself. I have my Lantra telescopic forklift ticket, and also basic chainsaw operation and maintenance from Ringlink. I've done some fencing and baling at college and would like to expand my experience.
I have completed three lambing seasons, most recently as a night lamber for 580 commercial ewes in March-April. My college placement last autumn-spring was on a mixed livestock farm with English Shorthorns, where I clipped backs and fed cattle. My cattle experience is limited but I am very keen to increase my knowledge and understanding.

I enjoy hiking and camping. I also like cooking and baking.
I am hardworking and keen to expand my experience of both animal husbandry and crop production. I enjoy working outdoors, both independently and as a part of a team. I will bring enthusiasm and a can-do attitude to this role and am ready to tackle any challenges I face.
